Thushara is a guitarist, vocalist, educator, and creative artist whose work connects Eastern and Western musical traditions. Blending Indian, Sri Lankan, and European influences, his performances combine classical sensitivity, improvisation, meditative soundscapes, and contemporary expression. Through music, he creates immersive experiences that invite audiences into reflection, connection, and cultural dialogue.

Born in Sri Lanka, Thushara’s musical journey began with a deep curiosity for sound, emotion, and storytelling through music. His passion led him to pursue professional studies in Europe, where he expanded his artistic language through conservatory training, performance practice, and intercultural collaboration. His path reflects the journey of a musician exploring tradition, innovation, and identity across cultures.

Alongside performance, Thushara is deeply dedicated to music education, cultural collaboration, and creative development. With more than 15 years of teaching experience, he has worked as a music teacher in Dubai, a lecturer in Sri Lanka, and a freelance music educator guiding students of different ages and backgrounds. Currently based in the Netherlands while continuing his conservatory studies, he has developed his own independent teaching practice focused on guitar, vocals, improvisation, creativity, and intercultural music learning. His teaching approach combines European and Indian musical traditions with mindfulness, expression, and technical development in a professional yet inspiring environment. Through concerts, workshops, digital projects, and interactive performances, Thushara continues to build bridges between cultures while encouraging creativity, artistic freedom, and meaningful musical connection.
